  Family members of the immediate past minister of Petroleum resources, Dieziani Alison-Madueke say she is currently ill and at a UK hospital receiving treatment. A family member revealed this to Leadership Newspaper     "Our daughter has been in hospital where is receiving treatment for some weeks now. She is currently under close medical observation. We learnt that the observation means that she has been unable to see anyone outside close family members over the last few weeks.

  E! News has confirmed that Kanye West will make an appearance on the season premier of Caitlyn Jenner's new reality show 'I Am Cait…' this Sunday.   President Buhari says that the US is 'aiding and abetting' terror group Boko Haram by refusing to supply arms to Nigeria. A US law called the Leahy Law prevents the US government from selling arms to countries which fail to tackle human rights abuses.   The Lagos State Government yesterday alerted residents of the state on new tactics armed robbers have devised to rob. In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Habib Aruna, the state government said robbers now render their prospective victims unconscious through rubbing a perfumed handkerchief on their faces before robbing them. The statement added that the robbers usually target unsuspecting victims either in a lonely commuter bus, taxi or a quiet corner. The statement listed the Igando axis in Alimosho LGA as one of the areas where this is common “It is not yet known how harmful the drug being used on the handkerchief is. While that is being checked out, it may be necessary to alert members of the public on this new dimension”, the statement said.

  Kenyans are not happy about being described as a terrorist hotbed and have been hitting CNN all day. Meanwhile Kenya's Interior Minister, Joseph Nkaisserry has asked CNN to apologize for the comment. He said this during a press briefing this morning "Kenya like any other country in the world is at the risk of terror attacks, the attacks do not turn it into a hotbed. Kenya is not a terror hotbed as portrayed by CNN. I urge Kenyans to treat the CNN report with the contempt it deserves. If CNN is civilized enough, they should apologise" he said
