  40 year old British-born/Ghanaian TV actor and model Sam Sarpong died in Southern California after jumping to his death from a bridge on Monday afternoon in Pasadena, where he lived.   The APC senators who remained in the senate after PDP staged a walk out, have confirmed Rotimi Amaechi as a minister of the Federal republic of Nigeria. The senators rejected the recommendation of the Ethics and priviledge committee's which recommended that the Rotimi Amaechi should not be confirmed as Minister because of the corruption charges that he is yet to answer to at the appeal court.

  Speaking for the first time about Emmanuel Emenike's sudden retirement from Super Eagles after only 5 years, Coach Sunday Oliseh said he was surprised by the announcement and wasn't informed by the footballer. “It was a big shocker for us and a big shocker for me personally. I still don’t accept that he has retired because officially I have not heard anything from him and I don’t think the Federation has heard from him, only what we know is what was posted on social media,” Oliseh told Sports radio Brila FM yesterday   Oliseh said he tried reaching out to Emenike on phone after hearing about his retirement but got no response.

Before expelling Wale from MMG on social media, Meek should have first checked with MMG CEO Rick Ross.
