A BBC documentary has revealed that teenagers are now employing a code made up of 'emojis' ? small digital images normally used to convey emotions ? to conceal Class A drug deals on social media platforms.


An undercover operation exposed how popular social networks, including Snapchat and Instagram, have become a safe haven for those dealing in illegal substances and large drug gangs claim 75 per cent of their sales now come through social media transactions from digital savvy students.
