RECESSION: Sterling bank sacks 625 staff

 
625 members of staff of Sterling bank have lost their jobs as the management of the bank have approved the termination of their appointment.

The affected workers had their sack letters handed over to them last friday April 21st. The reason for the sack ranged from poor performance, right sizing and disciplinary issues.

  The Imo State Commissioner of Police, Chris Okey Ezike, on Tuesday, June 27, paraded over 30 suspects arrested for various crimes ranging from kidnapping, cultism, stealing, and armed robbery. Nigerians on the internet are divided over Trevor Noah's reaction to Nigeria's Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh over his pizza comment. While some are blasting him and tagging him a 'dry comedian,' others are defending him on Twitter after he attacked the Minister for claiming Nigerians now order pizza from London to Nigeria via British Airways.
