Woman arrested in Anambra for disfiguring her 14-year-old housemaid's face with hot knife

 
Mrs. Mary Cynthia Obia is currently detained at the police station on Isiowulu People’s Club Road, Nkpor in Idemili North Local Government of Anambra State, for allegedly disfiguring her housemaid’s face with a hot knife.


The 14-year-old victim identified as Adaku Nwaigwe, has been released to her parents as directed by the police.

A security source, who spoke to The Nation, on Sunday,  said the woman used the hot knife on Adaku for allegedly dating one of the boys in their neighbourhood.

  Madonna University has built what they claim is the longest and possibly the largest exams hall in Nigeria. The hall is called 'Edeh's Ark', named after the school chancellor's name; Rev. Emmanuel Matthew Paul Edeh and I got some exclusive photos "The idea is that several exams will hold at the same time.
