Witnessing young marriages end in acrimonious divorce breaks me - Human rights lawyer Inibehe Effiong

Human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, has said that witnessing young marriages end in high conflict divorce has reinforced the importance of choosing the right spouse.

“The most consequential decision in the life of a man is choice of a spouse,” he wrote.

"As a divorce attorney, seeing couples who have been married for less than two years pursue hostile and acrimonious petitions for dissolution of their marriages in court offers me the privilege for introspection.

"When the heart, body, mind, soul and spirit are ready for marriage, may we not make the wrong choice.

“Caveat: there’s a chance that if you ask me a personal question based on the above, it is improbable that I’ll answer the question. Bye.”
